The five districts of Downtown El Paso are the definition of alive! With more than enough to see and do, you can immerse yourself here. From luxurious hotels and restaurants to sports events, this place has it all.
Plaza Hotel
The Plaza Hotel, named one of the “World’s Best New Hotel Openings in the Southern USA” by Fathom, is home to three restaurants & bars with phenomenal views! We recommend making a reservation for the rooftop bar, La Perla. Here you will be astonished by the views of El Paso, the surrounding Rocky Mountains, and the borders of Mexico & New Mexico all while enjoying cocktails and/or shareable dishes.
Taft Díaz

Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site
Hike, climb, picnic, stargaze and more at this beautiful sacred desert sanctuary. Visitors are welcome to a guided or self-guided tour to view the park in full.
Sports & Entertainment
Sun Bowl Stadium
If you’re a sports lover, you may just find yourself at the Sun Bowl Stadium. Known for its late December college football bowl game – The Sun Bowl. Other than this, it is home to the UTEP Miners of Conference USA. The stadium’s seating capacity is over 50,000 and brings in some great mountain views from the stands.
El Paso Event Center Ice Skating Rink
